Shimla: Anupam Kher visited the Police Headquarters today on 17.06.21 and had an informal interaction with the officials and staff present there. He was welcomed by the DGP Sanjay Kundu and presented with mementos, a shawl and a cap.(ADVT1)
Kher shared his experiences from the time he lived with his joint family at the Nabha Estate in Shimla. He also spoke on the importance of the power of dreams and hopes and women empowerment. He also pointed out that ‘failure is an event, not a person’. The DGP appraised him of the activities of Himachal Police in general, and of the role women have come to play in policing during recent times in particular. He also presented Mr Kher with a Coffee Table book _Veerangana_ unveiled earlier this year on the International Women’s Day. (ADVT2)
Kher spent about two hours at the PHQ and interacted with everyone on several issues. Himachal Police thanks him for taking time out for this invaluable interaction.
