Shimla/Kinnaur: Good news for apple growers in Himachal Pradesh. Adani Agrifresh Limited (AAFL) has announced procurement rates for apples for this season. According to the company, the formal procurement process will begin on Monday, August 25, 2025, while a trial procurement in select markets will take place on August 24, 2025, with limited capacity.

80% to 100% Color (Premium Quality): ₹45 to ₹85 (depending on size)
60% to 80% Color (Supreme Quality): ₹35 to ₹55
Less than 60% Color (all sizes): ₹24
ROL Apples: ₹24
EEL/US (all sizes, 0–100% color): ₹20

Rohru, Rampur, Tutu-Pani: August 24, 2025 (Trial)
Sainj, Jarol-Tikkar: From August 25, 2025
Reckong-Peo: From August 28, 2025
Company officials stated that procurement rates have been fixed according to the grading and color percentage of the apples. Growers have been advised to adhere to the announced schedule and grading norms.
