India continues to play an active role in strengthening democratic traditions and enhancing global parliamentary cooperation. In this context, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla held a detailed discussion with Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania on the upcoming 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Conference, scheduled to be held in Barbados. Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Dr. Harivansh and Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta were also present during the deliberations.
New Delhi (HD News): Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla held discussions with Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania on the key subjects to be presented at the upcoming 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Conference scheduled in Barbados.
Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Dr. Harivansh and Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta were also present during the deliberations. The leaders exchanged views on strengthening parliamentary traditions, promoting democratic values, and enhancing mutual cooperation among member nations.
The Indian delegation is expected to present its perspective on democracy, governance, and inclusive development, while also engaging with parliamentarians from across the Commonwealth to foster collaboration.
